PSE has renewed sponsorship terms with Duane Reade to continue as the title partner to the 2014 New York City Triathlon’s two-day Sports & Fitness Expo held August 1st and 2nd at the Grand Hyatt in Manhattan. The expo attracts over 15,000 attendees over the two days. As part of the comprehensive sponsorship campaign, Duane Reade will receive dominant branding & display space at the expo and throughout race day. The “Duane Reade Sports & Fitness Expo” will be communicated as such in various media partnerships and collateral pieces. The expo will also be featured on the NYC Triathlon’s one-hour broadcast with Duane Reade receiving name recognition and logo ID on-screen. Duane Reade will also receive major Internet visibility, database marketing opportunities, commercial advertising, pass thru rights to vendors, and a host of other promotional opportunities aligned with the world-class race weekend.
On behalf of MaxPreps.com, PSE has once again renewed terms with the Army National Guard. For the ninth consecutive year, the Army National Guard will continue with its integrated online-offline programs from September 2013 through May 2014 on www.maxpreps.com. The Army National Guard will continue receiving rich-media advertisements, mobile media and pre-roll videos throughout www.maxpreps.com. New to this year, mobile media advertising will be enhanced with a schedule of new native wall posts.
The Army National Guard will continue its flagship program by presenting the “team and national rankings” for all the sports listed below and present the Fab 5 statewide pre-season ranking for football, boys’ basketball and girls’ basketball.
Offline, the Army National Guard will continue as the presenting partner to the award winning Tour of Champions platform which this year will honor 100 teams. The tours which began with football in 2005 now encompass girls’ volleyball, boys’ and girls’ basketball and boys’ and girls’ soccer.
PSE will continue to handle all aspects associated with the tours including but not limited to scheduling, event coordination and execution, pre-event promotion, on-site marketing and local public relations.
PSE has once again been contracted by Sunsweet Growers, Inc. to execute a two-event sampling program in North Carolina. Working closely with Sunsweet Growers, based in California, over the past 3 years, PSE will handle the sampling campaign in a turnkey manner on behalf of its client. PSE will be responsible for event research, identification, negotiation and contract fulfillment; as well as display booth development, operations, and sampling staffing and execution. The initiative will run during the Fall season.
On behalf of its long-standing client, CBS MaxPreps, PSE has developed a partnership with the National Guard to showcase eleven (11) high school football rivalries throughout the country. The National Guard will become the presenting partner to the inaugural “MaxPreps Rivalry Series.” From September through November, PSE staff, MaxPreps’ editorial team and the local National Guard will travel the country and highlight a unique rivalry between local high school football teams and celebrate the spirit that rallies their community every fall season. PSE will handle tour scheduling and management, pre-event marketing, game promotions and public relations for the Rivalry Series.
PSE has been retained by Chelsea Piers Management Inc. to exclusively represent Chelsea Piers New York and Connecticut in its sponsorship sales. PSE will handle all aspects associated with sponsorship sales including but not limited to prospect identification, engagement, proposal development, and negotiations. Chelsea Piers New York is conveniently located on New York’s West Side Highway. Attracting 4 million annual visits, the “lifestyle” venue boasts five dedicated sports facilities and two event centers spanning five city blocks. Chelsea Piers New York also offers facilities for 25+ sports including golf, ice hockey, indoor soccer, basketball, bowling, rock climbing, and much more. Chelsea Piers Connecticut is strategically located directly off I-95 in Fairfield County, (Stamford) CT and attracted 1 million annual visits in just its first year. Chelsea Piers CT features facilities for 26 different sports and comprehensive programming for children, teens and adults.
PSE has agreed to terms with OtterBox and 5-hour Energy as on-site sponsors on behalf of its client, the Newport International Boat Show, held this September 12th-15th. OtterBox and 5-hour Energy will both receive on-site sponsorship benefits that extend to the 40,000+ consumers during the 4-day event held at the Newport Yachting Center, Newport, RI.
On behalf of CBS MaxPreps, Inc., PSE has reached terms with the Oklahoma and Oregon National Guard to partner with MaxPreps’ Team of the Week campaign. As part of the partnership, the National Guard in Oklahoma and Oregon will each receive presenting partner status to the weekly award, which is available to all sports. The Team of the Week award will run from late August through the end of February 2014 for a total of twenty-five (25) state-specific awards. Each state will receive media banner advertisements geo-targeted to their particular state and will also receive lockdown advertising units and presenting partner status on each of the Team of the Week published articles. Additionally, each state will receive the opportunity to present the co-branded award certificates to the recipients. PSE will also support five (5) award presentations in each state with a local public relations campaign.
Sunsweet Growers, Inc. has once again retained PSE to handle its niche event sponsorship and sampling initiative. During the upcoming Fall, PSE’s Sponsorship Consultation & Promotions Division will handle all aspects associated with event sponsorship and sampling for Sunsweet Growers targeted to family physicians and pediatricians. PSE will handle the multi-market effort in a turnkey manner and focus on the West Coast and Southeast markets.
PSE has signed sponsorship terms with Bermuda Tourism for the Newport International Boat Show held in beautiful Newport, RI. Bermuda Tourism will be the Official Tourism Board for the boat show. Additionally, Bermuda Tourism, in efforts to promote its welcoming boating community and adventures, will receive tabling opportunities, logo ID in collateral materials, hospitality, on-site sales rights and database marketing opportunities to 40,000 relevant and qualified attendees.
